It was in pristine condition! We tore up the ugly carpeting (just 'cause it was ugly) and discovered beautiful hardwood floors throughout 75% of the house. We love those hardwood floors!

As for my "studio", right now, all I have is one corner of the dining room. I store my beads in my son's room, but that's going to have to come to an end pretty soon. Not sure what I'll do then. And my husband HATES the creative clutter that occupies most of the dining room when I am beading "in the zone". Hehehe...VanBeadshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08721173813057192461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4502351480653950734.post-52194577752333697332010-02-12T07:17:28.516-08:002010-02-12T07:17:28.516-08:00We're looking at some remodeling later in the ...We're looking at some remodeling later in the year and I am absolutely DREADING it :( I hope yours is over soon and the chaos will leave and your peace will return.Carol Dean Sharpehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17163930598784445612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4502351480653950734.post-9971568184429134202010-02-12T05:33:40.097-08:002010-02-12T05:33:40.097-08:00Poor thing! Right now we had new siding put on two days before the first blizzard to hit the mid-Atlantic. The siding is up and the house is secure but the details aren't complete and all my planters and such are out of place and now encased in about 50" of snow! We lost Fios for several hours today because of the storm and just got it back and I have a blanket over the stove vent because the cover outside had to be ordered to fit the new siding! I can share your feelings. I'm actually glad to hear I'm not the only one who is disturbed by these things. I hope you get back to normal soon.
MaryanneMaryannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09995953807184947287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4502351480653950734.post-58451212972440781292010-02-11T14:44:15.233-08:002010-02-11T14:44:15.233-08:00I can totally relate to the catch 22 state of your...I can totally relate to the catch 22 state of your studio. I have the same problem and haven't figured out how to deal with it :)! Love your work; it's very inspiring.Gretchen Grammerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02801960259955894807noreply@blogger.com
