The Book Arrived

Did I mention it? I've been a bit busy, but I think that I may had this converstaion previously....I now have my very own copy. And this is how it looks among my other books.

When Nicole from Lark first contacted me she wondered if I had heard of Lark? I had to laugh, perhaps I had, since I think I own about every beading book they've produced.

I like the spine and that cute little earring, and I'm kind of fond of the title too.

  1. Congratulations. I usually make my own designs...with some exceptions. :-) I am working on your necklace that was on the cover of Beadwork this month in preparation for the book

  4. Congratulations on such a major accomplishment!!! The cover says so much about the inevitable content of your book...drama, saturated colors, challenges, uniqueness, and "good enough for royalty" beaded pieces. Can't wait to own my own copy and start working on my Marcia projects!

The book looks elegant, just like the projects found inside.

I wanted to let you know that I have also enjoyed your projects being in Beadwork Magazine this year. Hope to see you at Bead and Button!

  12. I see we have the same love of beading books! I have almost every single book that you have there - except for YOURS of course. Anxiously awaiting. I'm gathering my original projects in hopes of a book of my own someday...can there ever be too many? I think NOT!

  16. Isn't it the most exciting thing in the world to receive a copy of your very own book? I bet you fondled it just like it was a beautiful bead. And wait until Sept. when you can start checking amazon for the number of sales...my husband published a book, with a second edition due this week, and that's what he does! Enjoy every wonderful moment of joy!

  19. I can't wait for it to hit the UK (we're always a little behind the USA, so hope it's in time for Christmas!). I even recognise most of the titles on your shelf, so I must be reading the right stuff...
