and time to get to work....it's going to be a rainy one, or at least I hope, funny how it's all relative. Rain when you need to be out and about is not so good, especially walking, but a nice rainy day in the studio, my first this season, I love. So here's hoping for some rain.
Sian, who has been my on-line friend for over a year, but whom I've now met in person, posted some lovely pictures of our time together. This is one of my favorites.
It was our last day and Petra had just taken us on a lovely outing to a garden center with many fanciful goodies and Christmas decor. A small cafe served coffee and a delectable selection of cakes. Elke who lived nearby surprised us with a visit and we all enjoyed some quiet relaxed time together. And then all too quick it was time to say goodbye, and Petra took our picture. I will keep such fond memories our this trip.
Thanks for the blogs and all the pictures of your trip. Have you ever blogged about beading during a flight. I'm wondering how you organize your space keeping everything at hand & preventing things from falling to the floor.
ReplyDeleteI haven't Bizzy, but it is a good topic. I have a small restaurant tray with rubber feel and lined with velux, about 4 in by 6 in. I work on things that have 2 to 3 colors to keep things simple. I keep my triangle tray handy to pick things up quickly. I keep all my beads and supplies in one bag in my carryon to make them easy to access. Admittedly knitting is easier which I do on shorter flights, but on longer ones I do bead.
ReplyDeleteHi Marcia, back to work already ! Aren't you tired of your trip and/or jetlagged ? You seem to have so much energy, you're unbelievable waohhh ! And I can't wait to see your new book, hope it'll be out soon !
ReplyDeleteAll the best
Ingrid
I'm both tired and jetlagged, but a girl had to do what a girl has to do, there is beading to be done!
ReplyDeleteThe next book will be released in the fall of 2013.
