Bead Storage

Talenti containers pressed into action!  You may notice there are still a few empties.  I'm busy filling them up.  I was not responsible for eating all of this myself….many folks have been kind enough to gift me their empties.  It's a rather impressive wall, current count 92 containers, 19 columns by 5 high, with 3 missing to make it 5 high in all 19 columns.  Then I'm out of room on that cabinet.  I must say it makes a nice visual inventory of what is in stock.

Oh and that subtle little necklace on the left, I have 2 more months of custody before I return it to Sherry for her turn.  It is called Oz and is really the most beautiful piece.  Even for me it's not a grocery store piece though, so I wear it as often as I can get away with, whenever the occasion merits bead dress up!  I think I'll take it to Tucson with me, perhaps there will be a party or two where it might make sense.

Don't forget that a comment on any or all blog posts between January 23rd and January 30 (12:00 noon PST) will enter you into the drawing to win a copy of Marcia DeCoster Presents. (your name will be entered for each post you comment on, but only once per post)

The OZ necklace is beautiful! I love the different storage ideas you have. And your crystal wall is wonderful. I love those Bisley cabinets, wished I had some. I keep saving prescription bottles thinking they might come in handy. Boy I have a lot, too bad they aren't clear!

Hmmm...so does this mean I get another chance if I comment again today? Just in case...here I am! Would love that book to add to my collection. PS What is Talenti? I'll have to Google...nice containers!

Do you mark color numbers, names, etc. on top of or inside the lids or do you have some kind of list with all that info? Love this, I'm always looking for new organizational ideas.

In February in Tucson, one doesn't need a special occasion to wear that necklace!! Hope to see you here!

I haven't seen that book - would love to have it.

How big are those containers? That amount of beads is a wonderful sight. I googled Talenti. Must look for some.

What a wonderful reason to eat more Talenti Sea Salt Caramel Gelato, which is also mine (and my cats) absolute favorite!

I wish I had the space to display my beads like that! Now they are tucked away in a big box, and therefore I sometimes forget what I have... I'll have to find something for that. Anyway, I love how you organised your beads with the containers!

AH talenti storage... love it!

Wow, I collect Talenti containers myself (it's the BEST ice cream) and they are a good size. To collect those little seed beads in them...that's TON of beads! I haven't found a use for mine yet. But I do know that acetone will remove the lettering if you want to have completely clear tubs. :)

Wall o' beads - nice! Of course I understand the hardship of having to chew your way through a ton of delicious ice cream to attain such a prize but hey, no pain no gain :)
Your "subtle" necklace is quite extraordinary. I would love to see it in real life I bet it's super sparkly!

Love the picture of the Talenti containers of beads next to the beautiful necklace!

Perfect wall decoration! And so many pounds of beads! Do you have another wall for the smaller provisions?

Talenti is now being carried in my local supermarket, so I have two containers saved in my bead corner. The ice cream is delish, the containers are great for holding stash! Jeanne Evans

so you swear you didn't eat the Talenti???? Haha I love reading your blog and I like the visual of all the beads stored this way

I have been using Talenti containers to store bead projects since I discovered Talenti when I moved to Florida. My local Publix has a buy one, get one free promotion every couple of months - favorites are sea salt caramel and pistachio. I like the size of their containers. They look amazing in your photo with the light behind them.

Wow, what a beautiful necklace! It's very inspiring. So is your wall of crystals. I personally love walls with lots of the same things (crystals, books etc.) because they're so pretty to look at =)
I also appreciate the chance of winning your book!
