Upgrade!

I travel a lot, when I get to go first class it definitely improves the experience, and today I get to go first class, a very civilized start to the day. Next post will be from Milwaukee, most likely the Chophouse bar at the Hilton. Between now and then, wrangling my very large suitcases and two carry on's through Dallas and on to Milwaukee, onto the shuttle bus and into the hotel. That is where the Bad Liz will meet me and help with getting settled and organized (Can't for the life of me figure out how s he is 'the bad liz', but that is her blogname).

I'll be bringing the book and showing it off a bit, so for those of you who aren't making the trip this year, a preview

Earrings from the rope chapter, Amphora beaded bead from the layers chapter, Cuff from the fabric chapter and Gabriella pendant from the embellished chapter. A nice well rounded sampling.

Talk to you soon!

Huh! There's nothing too bad about Liz (and I know her!) She just wants to sound scarey. Have fun this week. Bev and I are sad that we aren't going. We feel like the little kids left behind. Everyone else gets to go, but our parents said we had to stay home. Sniff, sniff, sniff!

Pretty, pretty, pretty :o) Enjoy your upgrade! We were able to upgrade on our flight to Seattle, and it's so nice to fly in the big, squishy seats! I hope you have a sip of something nice and don't have any issues getting settled in for Bead and Button! Wish I was there :o)

They are waiting,
They are waiting,
shiny beads
in their box.

They are waiting
to be beaded,
after patterns
from your book....
(free lyrics for the song "sailing" by Rod Steward)

These sneak previews are teasing me! ;-))

They are all beautiful, but the Gabriella pendant is particularly stunning. I might just have to buy the book for that alone.

As official classroom helper, I had a sneak peak at the book. THE BOOK!! It's stunning! I can't wait for September when it's released.

As for being bad, I just didn't want to be the "old Liz", so I am the Bad Liz
