Since mostly I've been drawing beads instead of beading beads, I'll show you some finished knitting instead. Although it's hard to call this much of an accomplishment, it was a fun little knit. The pattern is called Bandana Cowl and is on the Purl Bee blog. The cowl is described as'the perfect accessory for those cool mornings when you've hit snooze a few too many times and need to turn "thrown-together-in-a-rush" into "casually glamourous"!' Casually glamourous is good in my book. I made mine out of Baby Me Boo from Misti Alpaca a thick think and really soft yarn. The pattern uses short rows and as many times as I made socks I never really mastered the whole pick up the wrap and knit it thing, but now I get it. Cat Bordhi presents one of the many you tube videos you will find on the subject if you google 'short rows in knitting' and her explanation worked for me.
Not sure you needed four photos, but it was a fun new photo booth feature. There are also many others which I just so don't get. Why would you want to look like a frog, or have your nose whirl or look like a chipmunk, it boggles the mind, mine anyways.
And onto the blog hop, in case you were wondering....
Today's contribution to the box is an assortment of Swarovski crystal (and not pink). I love the baroque pendant and this one is a 50 mm jet which I think would look stunning on a ribbon. The wild heart is one of my favorite innovations from last year and a silver shade triangle with a few crystal dorado tear drops for good measure..
Have you been visiting? Beverly has given us some lovely photos to match her color theme and Jeannette as always has brightly colored fun beads for you, and .....well go have a look, click on the blog hop button for a list!

Hey Marcia....love whatever you knit....and I see you are wearing my favorite color! Love the treasures you picking out for today! Hope you have a lovely day!
That's a lovely cowl! My knitting lately has consisted of baby-wear mostly, hats, booties, sweaters and the like (I'm due January 2nd !).
I adore that black pendant too!
Fun goodies for today. I am not sure how you find time to knit and bead. Being a new beader - maybe I'll get faster? Thank you for this HOP. It's been fun - and visiting the other sites has been inspiring.
Congratulations Christy, what a fun time for you. If you search for baby in the blog you will find plenty of baby knits here too, I'm a Grandma!
Thanks Jamie, I can see your smiling face when you write!
I always love seeing your knitted projects as well as your beaded ones. The cowl is lovely.
That scarf makes me want to take up knitting. Very flattering!
Is the bandanna comfortable to wear? It looks cute on.
The treasures chosen for today are inspirational as well.
I would love to get back to knitting but the bead bug has bitten too far into me to allow that to happen.
Today's treasure are fabulous!
The cowl looks great. It never gets hot enough here for me to wear something like that. I always wanted to learn to knit but didn't for whatever reason. Your pictures on your blog are what prompted me to take the time and learn.
Marcia do we have to click the box for follow up comments to win on our gogle account on the blog hop?
throw my name in the hat.
You almost make me want to go back to knitting, but my grandson is now 6'1" and just way to big to knit for, even socks!
Terry, all one needs to do to be entered is to leave a comment on the blog post. The button just takes you back to day one so you can visit the other bloggers.
You did mean cold enough....right Karen?
Love the bandana, Marcia! (and the baubles!)
I started knitting again last year when my daughter was pregnant with my first grandchild. Now I've started knitting items for myself also. Love the cowls.
Starting knitting bags recently and felting them... it covers a multitude of sins!
Love today's goodies. Don't think I've seen them over here.
Nice cowl wish i knew how to knit. Like you additions to the box
I'd love to knit...but don't think my home has room for another collection!
Live today's baubles
I love the cowl! I think I might just need one, and love those crystals!
Marcia, another day of fabulous stuff; this is really fun!
I love seeing your knit stuff and yuor bead stuff - it's truly inspirational in both categories.
I actually learned how to knit, because my friend had made a darling little scarf, and now I've made my own!I'm still a rank beginner, and beads will be number one, but it sure is fun!

So beautiful, that cowl. And the beads are also. Love the little teardrops.
What a pretty cowl! I like the four pictures in a square feature.
Marcia,
I love your work and have quite a few of your kits. You inspired me to try RAW and find it isn't as hard as most beaders think it will be. Next on my list is to conquer CRAW. I hope your new book has some projects using this stitch. I know what you meant when you blogged about a 20-something assisting with your MAC. Been there, done that...
Your box is incredible goodies in it and I sure hope that I win.
I love your cowl! I do not knit but I love to look! Beautiful beads.
So warm looking. Still blog hoping.
Marcia, I love the cowl. I haven't been knitting for a awhile but you have inspired me to start again. The idea of the Bead Hop is fun. I am enjoying checking out everyone's blogs!
Marcia, I love all things you knit. I know how to knit but I am not a knitter.
Knitting is my relaxing keep my hands busy thing. Too much fun. The new treasures are fabulous.
'love the color of your new knitted project, it's a great piece. Beading keeps me busy, but maybe someday knitting will be something to try. Thanks for the great giveaway, love the mix.
Chris
Marcia I love the little photo booth pics of you! The colors are so vivid! And you are really inspiring me to learn how to knit!
I have never worked with Swarovski's new Hearts but the Wild at Heart ones look very cool!
As always you are making some beautiful choices for this gift box!
Love it! I wish I knew how to knit. <3

You must have an amazing studio and stash!
Cute cowl, the color looks great on you!
I love seeing all the things you've been knitting! Inspires me to take out my knitting supplies again.
this is a great give-away..thanks.
After seeing lace on your blog, I've started knitting my own. I've been getting patterns from Anne Hansen's Knitspot. She has beautiful patterns & mostly uses artisan dyed wool. Very inspirational - just like your blog.
Loving these pendants :)
those are gorgeous beads! I agree the jet would make a fabulous stand-alone piece :)
I can't knit to save my life ( and can barely remember how to crochet ) so I always appreciate the gift in others.. and I adore that cowl! Plus I live in a cold climate and anything warm, fuzzy and capable of keeping someone warm is a winner in my book ;) lol lovely choice in colors too! I hope you wear it often:) I looks great!
What a fabulous combination...beading and knitting!!!
Love those Swarovski pendants, you are too generous!
The baroque pendant is just stunning.
Beautiful Swarovski pieces! I like the wild hearts too. The cowl is neat - I'll have to show it to friends of mine who knit.
Thanks for telling us about the Lark Books Giveaway...fingers crossed!
Knitting and beading? How do you find time for it all? Love the sparkly goodies in this day's offering!
Love the cowl and love the giveaway.
I have been knitting for years and love how you combine beading and knitting too!
Such a talented lady! I just put you together with one of my favorite books, Beaded Opulence. I'm still learning who is who, but I totally admire your talents!!!!!!!!!!!!!
